Welcome to OnTheLadder. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and platform. By accessing or using OnTheLadder, you agree to these Terms.
OnTheLadder is a lead-generation and introduction platform that connects individuals seeking mortgage or property-related advice (“Clients”) with independent mortgage brokers and advisors (“Brokers”).
OnTheLadder does not provide financial advice, mortgage advice, or any regulated financial services.
All advice, recommendations, and services are provided solely by independent Brokers acting in their own capacity.
OnTheLadder is not responsible for any advice, outcomes, decisions, or services provided by Brokers.
You must be at least 18 years old to use OnTheLadder.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when submitting an enquiry.
You must not misuse the platform, including submitting false, duplicate, or misleading requests.
By submitting an enquiry, you acknowledge and agree that your personal data and enquiry details may be shared with one or more relevant mortgage Brokers or advisors for the purpose of responding to your request.
We do not guarantee that you will receive responses, quotes, or availability from Brokers.
Brokers may be required to purchase credits to access Client enquiries.
All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
OnTheLadder does not handle any payments between Clients and Brokers and is not involved in any financial agreements between them.
Credits are used by Brokers to unlock access to Client details.
Once a lead has been unlocked, the credit is considered used.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or responsiveness of any lead.
Users agree not to bypass the platform to avoid fees or charges.
Brokers must not attempt to obtain Client contact details outside the platform before unlocking a lead.
Any breach may result in suspension or termination of access.
Credit purchases are governed by a separate Credit Policy.
We are not responsible for disputes, delays, or outcomes between Clients and Brokers.
Any disputes must be resolved directly between both parties.
All Brokers are independent and self-employed.
OnTheLadder may carry out onboarding checks but does not employ, supervise, or control Brokers.
Brokers are solely responsible for the advice and services they provide, including compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
Brokers must hold and maintain all necessary licences, permissions, FCA authorisations, and regulatory approvals required to provide mortgage or financial services in the UK.
OnTheLadder does not endorse, recommend, or provide any opinion on the suitability of any Broker for a particular Client or situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OnTheLadder is not liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from use of the platform or services provided by Brokers.
This includes loss of income, business interruption, or unsatisfactory outcomes.
Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
Clients may leave feedback based on their experience.
We reserve the right to remove or moderate reviews that are false, offensive, or misleading.
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on www.ontheladder.net. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
